Trauma-informed training and consulting rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing
For me, this work is about legacy. It is about contributing a meaning-making mark on the world, creating kinder spaces in which every voice is heard and uplifted. Having the difficult conversations is important - this is how we learn from each other and grow. I pride myself on fostering spaces in which such conversations and knowledge sharing can take place without judgement or blame being given or received. I feel that my job is to ensure that those in the circle can walk away feeling believed in, empowered and truly heard, as though they have contributed and learned in a very concrete way that will make a substantial impact going forward.
